Bringing cultural knowledge into senior decision-making
The Aboriginal Cultural Advisor will join the senior leadership team and provide strategic advice on mental health matters affecting Aboriginal people.
They will also provide professional leadership and guidance to Aboriginal Mental Health Workers employed across the Central Australia Region.
The position creates an opportunity for Aboriginal cultural knowledge, community understanding and professional expertise to inform senior discussions about service planning and delivery. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, the successful applicant will help strengthen the connection between cultural knowledge, clinical practice and mental health services.

Employment details and benefits
The position is classified at Administrative Officer 6, with:
An overall remuneration package of $121,018 to $134,714
A base salary of $102,505 to $114,282
Six weeks of recreational leave each year
17.5% annual leave loading
Three weeks of personal leave each year
A 12% employer superannuation contribution
