$1,500 per participant + GST for the full six-month program.

Each confidential mentoring pathway is co-designed with participants and guided by experienced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mentors.

For staff

Build confidence, navigate workplace systems and develop a career pathway grounded in your strengths and culture.

For managers

Strengthen cultural understanding, supervision and leadership. Joint sessions create space for trust, communication and shared goals.

What the program includes.

  • An initial cultural safety check-in.

  • Monthly individual sessions with employee and manager.

  • Quarterly joint sessions to review progress and align goals.

  • Resources, referrals and wellbeing check-ins between sessions.

  • Confidential feedback loops to raise concerns early.

  • HR or Reconciliation Champion involvement where appropriate.

Insights that support lasting change.

Baseline and final reports explore cultural safety, engagement and confidence through qualitative and quantitative information. Anonymous themes help inform workplace improvements.

Documentation can support Reconciliation Action Plan deliverables around staff support, leadership development, cultural safety and retention. A customised summary is available for internal or external reporting.

Support the growth and cultural wellbeing of your Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and their leaders with IJM’s six-month mentoring program. Delivered by culturally experienced First Nations mentors, this program provides dedicated guidance, cultural support, and leadership coaching—separately and together—to build trust, confidence, and culturally safe relationships in your workplace.

What’s Included:

  • 6 x monthly 1:1 sessions for staff and/or managers

  • Optional joint sessions for relationship building

  • Cultural support and guidance between sessions

  • A cultural safety check-in and tailored mentoring plan

  • Start and end impact report for your RAP and DEIB records

  • Ongoing access to resources and advice

Cost: $1,500 + GST per participant
