Metro South Health is recruiting for a Clinical Nurse – HOMES Team (Identified) at the Southern Queensland Centre of Excellence for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care in Inala.

This full-time role is open exclusively to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants and is perfect for an experienced nurse who wants to walk alongside community and support people with complex health needs.

About the Role

This position sits within a highly respected First Nations health service delivering primary health care, outreach, and home-based support to our people.

As a Clinical Nurse within the HOMES Team, you will:

• Provide advanced, culturally grounded nursing care

• Support chronic disease management and care coordination

• Lead and mentor other nurses and health staff

• Work closely with a Nurse Navigator, Case Managers, and Health Workers

• Build strong connections with families, Elders, and community partners

• Deliver care that’s strengths-based, person-centred, and culturally safe

This role is about empowering mob to lead their own health journeys.

Salary & Conditions

• Nurse Grade 6 (Band 1): $4,138.10 – $4,431.10 per fortnight

• Temporary full-time and casual opportunities available

• Located at 37 Wirraway Parade, Inala

Mandatory requirements include: RN registration with NMBA, a Bachelor of Nursing, Blue Card, Class C licence, and full vaccination compliance.
